What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. 25before25 uses them, along with browser local storage, to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand which opportunities are popular. This notice lists everything we set and why. It pairs with our privacy policy, which covers the profile data you give us.
Essential cookies & storage
These keep the site working and can't be turned off in the app. They store your login session (managed by our auth provider) and remember things like your last search filters and your saved list while you're signed out temporarily. No third party can read these.
Preference & progress storage
Local storage holds things like the onboarding step you reached, your dark/light theme choice, dismissed banners, and your gamification progress until it syncs to your account. This stays on your device and is cleared when you clear browser data.
Analytics (optional)
Analytics is off until you opt in from the cookie banner. When it's on, we record anonymous usage events — pages viewed, searches run, listings opened — tied to a random device id, never to your name or email. You can change your mind any time below, and nothing about the site breaks if you leave it off.

Third-party embeds
Some pages load third-party tools: a booking widget for 1:1 mentorship, a video on the book page, or the payment provider during checkout. Those services may set their own cookies under their own policies. We only embed them where they're needed for that feature.
Managing & clearing cookies
You can clear everything 25before25 set at any time from your browser settings under "site data" or "cookies". Signing out clears your session. Clearing local storage will reset your onboarding step and theme, and syncs again next time you sign in.
