Using 25before25

25before25 is a free directory and community for students aged 16–27 looking for funded internships, research placements and exchanges. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. You need to be at least 16 to sign up, and you're responsible for keeping your login secure.

We are not the programme provider

Every opportunity on this site is run by an external university, lab, company, foundation or government programme. We are not the employer, sponsor or visa provider, we don't process applications, and we can't influence selection decisions. Always check the details, funding terms, deadlines and visa requirements on the host organisation's own website before applying or travelling.

Catalogue accuracy

We work hard to keep listings accurate, but programmes change deadlines, funding and eligibility without notice. Listings and match scores are guidance, not guarantees. If you spot something out of date, tell us at hello@25before25.com and we'll review it.

Community rules

Keep this a place a 16-year-old can safely ask for help. Don't:

• harass, bully, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
• post sexual content, or contact minors privately for anything unrelated;
• advertise paid services, referral links, spam or unverified “agents”;
• ask for or share money, documents, passport scans or home addresses;
• post someone else's personal information, or impersonate anyone;
• share fake opportunities or scholarship “guarantees”.

Use the report button on any post, reply or profile that breaks these rules. Our moderators can hide content and suspend accounts.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give us permission to display it in the app so other students can learn from it. You can delete your own posts and replies at any time.

Safety when travelling

Placements abroad involve real-world risk. You are responsible for your own visas, insurance, health checks and travel arrangements, and if you're under 18 you should have a parent or guardian involved in the decision. We're not liable for anything that happens during a programme you find here.
